Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TalentaMatch (“we”, “us”, or the “platform”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our talent-matchmaking service that connects creative talent with hiring clients. By using TalentaMatch, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
TalentaMatch operates an online platform where talent can publish profiles and portfolios and where clients can post projects and discover talent. For the purposes of Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, the “PDP Law”), we act as the controller of the personal data you provide to us.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
- Profile data. Information you choose to add to your talent or client profile — such as your role, skills, location, industry, description, portfolio items, external links, and availability status.
- Project data. Details of projects you post or apply to, including titles, descriptions, requirements, and related messages or requests.
- Technical data. Basic information your browser sends automatically, such as device and browser type, and a session token we store in your browser to keep you signed in.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- create and maintain your account and profile;
- operate the core service — displaying profiles, matching talent with projects, and enabling clients and talent to connect;
- secure the platform and prevent misuse or fraud;
- communicate with you about your account and important service changes; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under the PDP Law we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our agreement with you (our Terms of Service), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights” below).
5. How your data is shared
- With other users. Your profile and any projects you post are, by design, visible to other users of the platform. Do not include information in these fields that you do not want to be public.
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties (such as hosting and authentication providers) that process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the platform.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Third-party services
We rely on Google for sign-in (Google OAuth). When you choose to contact another user, the platform may open external services such as WhatsApp or Threads with a pre-filled message; those services have their own privacy policies, and any data you share through them is governed by their terms, not ours.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we are required to retain it to meet a legal obligation or resolve disputes.
8. Your rights
Subject to the PDP Law, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to obtain a copy of the data you provided. You can update or delete most of your data directly in the app, or contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
TalentaMatch is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
12. Contact us
